Well-trained dogs on a leash are welcomed. ‘Day of’ Volunteers Needed: We need 3 volunteers who can contribute 30 min. to help with set up and other logistics. So when will Esprit Park finally re-open?
Even the RecPark Project Team doesn’t know. It’s not your imagination. It’s been 7 years since we secured full funding for the Park Renovation Project. And a mere 5 years since RecPark committed to project completion by Q3’21. The last RecPark Project team update gave us some hope for Esprit Park to reopen later this summer, but it’s really anybody’s guess when we will be back in the park. The latest RecPark Project updates don’t offer much insight into the recent lengthy delays. We’ve been told the sub-drainage system and sewer pipe work has been completed. Installation of 5 adult exercise areas has begun. The contractor team is currently working on site grading, boardwalk decking and irrigation system installation. And sadly, three more legacy trees will be removed and replaced with trees TBD. Irma, Camilla, and Kristin
